Job Description
The Payroll & Benefits Specialist is responsible for overseeing and executing all functions related to payroll and benefits for our U.S. facility. This includes processing payroll, administering benefits, and leading payroll projects to improve engagement and lower costs.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented with ability to spot errors and discrepancies
- Proactive mind with ability to create processes and safeguards
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with 401K administration, garnishment processing, and payroll audits
- Experience running payroll for multi-state jurisdictions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varied demands
- Customer-focused mind with ability to provide solutions and help to internal clients
- Ability to learn new technology and navigate online payroll systems
- Monitoring system controls for compliance with federal/state legislation
- Assisting team members with benefits discussions, payroll, and HR related topics
