Assistant Cable Splicer

As an Assistant Cable Splicer at PGE, you will perform duties of a journeyman lineman in connection with construction, operation, and maintenance work on dead or energized overhead and underground transmission and distribution lines. The job involves working safely, racking, insulating, splicing, and terminating cables, installing and connecting transformers, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Journeyman Lineman card required
• Hot line experience required
• Valid CDL driver's license
• Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA
• Asbestos physical and fit test for respirator
