Job Description
The Assistant Operations Manager DMT is responsible for directing, planning, and supervising terminal operations and staff, ensuring efficient, safe, and productive operations for assigned customers, terminal area, and cargo type.
Requirements
- Effectively manage the work activities of the Foreman, Labor, and other personnel
- Determine the amount of labor needed for each day and ensure labor is ordered appropriately
- Ensure compliance with the company's Safety program
- Maintain positive relations with Labor and ensure that the Collective Bargaining Agreements are understood and adhered to
