Job Description
Powell Service Division is seeking a skilled Senior Service Technician to ensure the safety, quality, and performance of their medium and low voltage switchgear. This role involves performing installations, maintenance, and supervision, supporting the west coast, gulf coast south, offshore, and east coast service regions. The ideal candidate is problem-solver, able to work independently, and provides full support from safety training and technical equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience in electrical or shop work
- Knowledge of Electrical Industry standards
- Proficiency in electrical theory and control circuits
- Working knowledge of Oracle, MS Outlook, Power DB, Word & Excel
- Experience with test equipment (Hi potential, DLRO, Multi-meter, dial caliper)
- Ability to perform hi-pot testing and breaker function testing
- Willingness to attend in-house and out-side training
