The Accounting Manager ensures the integrity of accounting, safeguards organizational assets and develops efficient business processes to record revenue, financial reporting process and monthly closing process.
Requirements
- Review and analyze finances
- Ensure compliance with regulations and refining reporting documentation
- Oversee certain contracts as it relates to financial reporting
- Lead strategic planning for accounting policies and maintaining internal controls over financial transactions
- Prepare and maintain accounting records in accordance with accounting policies, chart of accounts, and related accounting principles and practices
- Review and sign vouchers prepared by accountants to ensure that all transactions are booked to right cost code and cost center
- Review accrued expenses on a monthly basis
- Review depreciation process for fixed assets
- Prepare monthly trial balance
- Review bank reconciliation for all current accounts and bank liabilities
- Review vendor reconciliations
- Link transactions from modules to right accounts in GL
- Support implementation of HSE initiatives and participate in safety awareness activities
