Construction Supervisor

The Construction Supervisor monitors ongoing operational activities to ensure that the work is being done correctly and the project stays on schedule. This includes ordering supplies/materials, scheduling, equipment maintenance, and training new employees.

Requirements

• Direct and supervise day to day operations of sub-contractors
• Ensure material requisitions are issued in adequate time
• Inspect sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards
• Supervise and instruct the team as well as subcontractors
• Enforce site safety rules
• Handle site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol
• Supervise and coordinate in the performance of various activities
• Maintain an accurate record of employee attendance
• Coordinate safety training and enforce safe work practices
• Facilitate toolbox meetings/Daily Pre start meetings
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives
