The HSE Engineer supports the Company HSE Manager/Project HSE Manager to implement the HSE management system, including planning, implementation, evaluation, and analyzing HSE activities to ensure HSE target and objectives are measured and achieved.
Requirements
- Assist in the implementation of and compliance to the Project Health and Safety Management Plan (PHSP) and Project HSE Management Programme.
- Arrange, conduct and participates in training sessions, HSE Committee and Coordination Meetings.
- Advise supervisory Staff with regards to accident prevention and improvement related to work methods.
- Assist in leading and supervising HSE officers onsite.
- Monitor the execution of HSE activities on a project to ensure HSE requirements are met as per the project HSE plan and HSEMS requirement.
- Ensure that existing hazards, unsafe work conditions and /or practices are identified on a daily basis and observation reports are raised and corrective measures are recorded.
- Ensure to address and report violation on daily basis and make necessary recommendations.
- Monitor timely reporting of project HSE performance Ensure achievement of HSE goals on project.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies
