Staff Product Development Engineer

Staff Product Development Engineer responsibilities include product design, circuit design, knowledge in components selection, product design optimization, and providing technical support to customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in electronics engineering or in related fields
• Excellent understanding of Power Electronics and electrical engineering fundamentals
• Minimum 8 years of experience of power electronics design in any of the following: gate drivers, switch mode power supply and power management
• Power electronics design experience and knowledge of power electronic components (e.g. Diode, IGBT, MOSFET, SiC MOSFET, Gate Driver) and/or SMPS
• Knowledge of understanding and interpreting international standards (e.g. DIN EN and IEC)
• Ability to design PCB layout or willing to be trained in PCB layout design with CAD system (e.g., Altium Designer) and simulation tools (e.g., Simetrix/Simplis, LTSpice)
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Learning capability and willingness to be trained and pursue further education
• Resilient under stress even in tough situations
• Strong organizational skills
• Team player
