Job Description
We are seeking a welder to assist our client. The position requires performing welding tasks using various techniques, reading and interpreting blueprints, and adhering to safety guidelines. A high school diploma and previous experience as a welder are required. Relevant certifications and strong communication skills are also essential.
Requirements
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Operate welding equipment and related tools efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, regulations, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Handle and transport materials to and from the work area as needed.
- Diagnose and resolve welding issues and equipment malfunctions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various positions and environments.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and potentially in remote or harsh conditions.
