Job Description
PowerFlex, an EDF Renewables company, is a leading national provider of intelligent onsite energy solutions that support carbon-free electrification and transportation. The Project Engineer II will provide technical support during the detailed engineering & construction stage of projects and will be exposed to all aspects of projects. The role will involve designing and engineering commercial and small utility-scale solar PV projects, communicating with utilities, and coordinating with vendors and customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil or Electrical preferred) or related major
- 2-3 years of experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Helioscope, AutoCAD, PVSyst and Excel
- Understands permitting & interconnection process
- Basic understanding of financial modeling and incentive programs
