Project Engineer - Hydrogen Infrastructure

Powertech Labs is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Hydrogen Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will manage hydrogen infrastructure projects from concept to completion, providing engineering expertise throughout design, procurement, and construction.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Chemical/Process Engineering (or related discipline)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in hydrogen, oil & gas, or related industries
• Proven experience with HAZOP studies or other risk assessments
• Strong ability to work independently and solve complex technical challenges
• Hands-on experience with high-pressure hydrogen equipment (>10,000 psi) in gas applications
• Familiarity with data acquisition, instrumentation, and control systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for immediate registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC
• Valid BC driver’s license and ability to travel internationally without restrictions
