Job Description
System Administrator job opening at Bosch in Bangalore, India. Responsibilities include system administration, network management, security, user support, backup and recovery, and automation and scripting.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
- Strong experience with both Linux and Windows Server environments
- Proficient in shell scripting (e.g., Bash) and other scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
- Experience with Virtualization (VMware/Hyper V) is a plus
- Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Familiarity with various monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Experience with ITSM (e.g., SNOW, Manage Engine, Remedy)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
