Job Description
This Software Engineer Level 2 role focuses on building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate software build and deployments. The engineer will manage software builds, releases, and CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools like Ansible and Jenkins. This is a full-time position within a fast-paced DevOps environment.
Requirements
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
- Proficient using Bash/Python to develop scripts to automate provisioning of HPC systems
- Experience with release management best practices including versioning, automation, risk management, and continuous improvement
- Experience managing software builds and releases with one or more programming languages
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including Ansible
- Experience with Dev/Sec/Ops processes and related FOSS toolchains
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Containerd
- Experience with Git Source Control System
