The Director, Social Media plays a key leadership role for the overall health and management of the Social Media Department with an emphasis on paid media strategy & planning, campaign management oversight, thought leadership and business development.
Requirements
- Assess, develop, propose and implement long-term social media strategies
- Oversee development and implementation of all social media campaigns
- Conduct ongoing performance tests to gauge content and campaign effectiveness
- Mentor and build relationships with social paid media management team
- Serve as the primary client-facing paid and organic social media strategy lead
- Stay up to date with the latest digital technologies, social media trends, platform changes, and cutting-edge tactics
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities
- Participate actively in business development initiatives representing the Social Media team
