Job Description
Precision Drilling is launching its 2026 Internship Program, seeking a Data Developer Intern to contribute to building and maintaining data pipelines and monitoring systems. The intern will work closely with the data engineering team to develop scripts, configure monitoring tools, and create dashboards for operational insights.
Requirements
- Design and optimize batch and real-time ETL scripts for data ingestion and transformation
- Implement automated checks for data quality and reliability
- Configure monitoring and alerting systems for pipeline health
- Participating in code reviews and discussions on software design/architecture
- Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in the resolution
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, system workflows, and code repositories
- Create dashboards to visualize data quality metrics
