Requirements
- Conduct direct labor studies and drive manufacturing process improvement activities through analysis and benchmarking to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate bottle necks.
- Troubleshoots production equipment issues by deploying root cause problem solving and corrective actions.
- Identify, define, and design process improvement tools such as weld and assembly fixtures.
- Lead manufacturing new product launch including executing design and process validation activities such as supporting fabrication of prototype parts, assembly of prototype boats, and PFEP.
- Support autonomous manufacturing implementation projects and other process improvement technologies.
- Analyzes, evaluates, and maintains manufacturing methods and standards. Provides solutions to problems adversely affecting operator safety, quality, productivity, and/or cost.
- Create and update standard work documentation for processes.
- Assists in preparation of departmental budget including material, labor, equipment, and outside procurement costs, and operates within approved parameters.
- Demonstrate professionalism with all Premier Marine employees and visitors.
- Provide situational leadership in support of Premier Marine culture and values.
- Communicate effectively through all department levels to provide a clear and consistent message in a changing environment.
- Support Tier Continuous Improvement Boards to help facility achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvement goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
