Floor/Utility Technician

Under general supervision, the Floor/Utility Technician is responsible for the cleaning and restoring of tile, carpet, and other flooring surfaces. Employees in this job class perform stripping, waxing, scrubbing, buffing, carpet cleaning, and other restorative tasks for assigned areas.

Requirements

• One year of custodial work experience
• Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and requests from customers and others
• Ability to read and follow written instructions on labels for proper and safe use of chemicals, supplies, and equipment
