Senior Ruby Engineer (Rails)

This Senior Ruby Engineer position focuses on strengthening the Ruby and Rails team, building customer-facing marketing automation capabilities for e-commerce businesses. Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience with at least 3 working in a production Ruby on Rails codebase
• Solid understanding of data modeling and query optimization - PostgreSQL experience is a plus
• Experience with background job processing and strong understanding of async development patterns - Sidekiq experience is a plus
• Experience delivering, operating and maintaining features end-to-end in production
• Experience designing and implementing APIs in Rails and an understanding of RESTful principles
• Strong written communication skills and established habits communicating about your work asynchronously in writing
• Collaboration first mindset and proven ability to work independently
