Emergency Medical Dispatcher

Emergency Medical Dispatcher provides professional and courteous service while receiving incoming calls from the public or other public safety entities requesting emergency and non-emergency assistance. Dispatches appropriate units according to acuity level, availability and location or provides appropriate information as required. Maintains accurate record and log of all incidents.

Requirements

• Ability to engage in multiple activities simultaneously
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
• Working knowledge of the street system in Cambridge and the surrounding area
• Ability to remain calm in difficult and stressful circumstances
• Compliance with company mandated safety programs and OSHA mandates
