Job Description
Procom is a leading provider of professional IT services and staffing to businesses and governments in Canada. We are searching for a Network Engineer for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX. The Network Engineer will participate in planning, implementation, administration, maintenance, and monitoring of networking platforms, and work with various clients and vendors to effectively find solutions to communication/networking issues.
Requirements
- 10 - 15 years of practical experience in a senior networking role
- Certifications in CompTIA Network+, MCTS, CCNP, CCVP
- Solid knowledge and working experience of LAN/WAN network equipment from various vendors
- Specific experience in defining Low Level Design for Cisco LAN and WAN equipments
- Specific experience in establishing DWDM connectivity for high speed and low latency between data centers
- Experience working in large data center environments
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well without direct supervision
