Software Systems Engineer

Procom is seeking a highly motivated Software Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity in Hillsboro, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have experience in deployment and performance testing of large-scale parallel and distributed systems, automated testing tools and frameworks, and Linux command line tools. The candidate will work in a lean, Agile, entrepreneurial environment to launch new products into new markets.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in deployment and performance testing of large-scale parallel and distributed systems
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
• 3+ years experience with Linux command line tools and interfaces
• 3+ years experience developing automated test harnesses, using scripting or high level languages
• 1 year of experience in verifying the accuracy, reliability, consistency and effectiveness of data in NoSQL or relational databases
• 1 year of experience with the design and implementation of NoSQL databases, graph and/or relational databases
• Strong understanding of Web technologies, databases, and networking
