Job Description
Procom is searching for a Sr Oracle Database Engineer for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX. The position will be integral to the Database infrastructure strategy, security, and currency planning. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in an enterprise level distributed environment and 5+ years of Oracle experience in an enterprise environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in an enterprise level distributed environment (SAN, Virtual, UNIX, Windows, Data Center)
- 5+ years Oracle experience in an enterprise environment
- 3+ years SQL experience in an enterprise environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with current clients, prospective clients, and with internal personnel
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, LDAP, DNS SMTP and other networking areas
- Proficiency in enterprise storage technologies such as NAS and Storage Area Networking, and Backup & Recovery
