Job Description
Procom is a leading provider of professional IT services and staffing to businesses and governments in Canada. We are looking for an experienced Web Application Developer to support the IT PCP Service enhancement requests in the IT Service Management tool - Service Now.
Requirements
- Assessing business need and crafting robust and scalable application architecture and design
- Experience with design patterns and Windows
- Strong knowledge of DBMS concepts and relational databases including SQL development skills
- Unit Testing, Selenium/Fitnesse, and existing IT Service Management tool architecture and structure
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and on a team, and deliver quality results
- Experience developing highly interactive Web applications with JavaScript, YUI3, or other JavaScript frameworks
- Modern web development toolkits and libraries such as Backbone, Underscore, Angular, Ember, JQuery, etc.
- Agile development processes, continuous build environment, and RESTful JSON API's
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- 5-7 years of industry experience in software development and writing solutions using Java technology skills
