Job Description
Procon is seeking a Project Engineer to assist on construction projects in the Chicago area. This role involves supporting project planning, construction management, and client satisfaction, with a focus on program management and project controls. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are crucial.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in construction management on projects for new construction, mechanical systems, renovations, upgrades or new fit-outs
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or Kahua
- Experience with project stakeholder and contractor coordination
- Experience reviewing design documents
- Fluent in project management principles
- Ability to analyze project information
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
- Ability to work knowledge of CPM scheduling
