The Manufacturing Engineer will apply engineering skills to manufacturing processes for the wiring or locomotive components and electrical/mechanical assembly of locomotives and locomotive components.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of related engineering work in a manufacturing company
- Product design experience
- Thorough knowledge in one or more areas of: Electrical assembly/wiring/circuitry, and mechanical assembly processes
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with colleagues, production team members, suppliers, external contractors, other company locations
- Experience working with others on a manufacturing shop floor
- Lean manufacturing experience
- Ability to Read blueprints and electrical schematics
