This position is responsible for operating various hand-welding and plasma-cutting equipment to weld, fabricate or join work pieces together. Work involves safe use of various hand and power tools common to the welding trade and being familiar with MIG welding.
Requirements
- Fabricate parts and assemble large aluminum railroad signal structures
- Proficient in welding
- Must be experienced in MIG welding aluminum and steel
- Must be capable of performing all job duties in a safe and professional manner showing attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be trainable, fast learner, and very capable of taking directions
