We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our industrial division with injury prevention services onsite for a major airline carrier at the JFK Airport. This position will strategically support employees by providing occupational care, ergonomic support/training, education, and coaching.
Requirements
- An Associate’s Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment
- Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations (preferred)
- Ergonomic and/or occupational health experience
- Previous experience with public speaking in a training environment (preferred)
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications
