Job Description
Project Solutions Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector (Substation) to join a Western Area Power Administration project supporting multiple WAPA regions. This role involves conducting inspections of high-voltage substations, ensuring compliance with construction standards, and monitoring contractor installation activities. The position is contingent upon award of project and requires participation in a challenging infrastructure project to strengthen federal power infrastructure.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience inspecting or working on high-voltage substation construction or maintenance projects (69 kV to 500 kV)
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage electrical equipment
- Experience verifying protective relaying, SCADA, and substation control wiring
- Thorough knowledge of WAPA construction standards
- OSHA 1910/1926, NESC, NEC, and applicable federal/state codes
- Valid driver’s license
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
