Job Description
Spark is seeking a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) to provide structured literacy intervention and academic therapy services to students with dyslexia. The therapist will implement evidence-based interventions, conduct screenings, and collaborate with school staff to support student progress. The role involves providing individualized instruction, tracking progress, and maintaining fidelity to curriculum.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in education, special education, or related field
- Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) credential from ALTA or equivalent
- Licensed Dyslexia Therapist (LDT) credential issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) preferred
- Texas teaching certificate preferred
- Minimum of 2 years providing structured literacy intervention
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy or remote intervention models a plus
