Job Description
The Educational Diagnostician role requires comprehensive educational evaluations in both English and Spanish. The role involves assessing students' eligibility for special education, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring linguistically and culturally appropriate practices. Experience in Bilingual assessment and working with bilingual students is highly preferred.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Texas certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency
- Ability to conduct evaluations in Spanish
- Must meet all TEA requirements for serving as a Diagnostician
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, FIE requirements, and ARD/IEP processes
