Job Description
We are seeking a Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer to join our international team. The role involves monitoring and maintaining production systems, troubleshooting and resolving incidents, and working in a rotating shift pattern to ensure 24x7 coverage.
Requirements
- Previous experience of working within a Network Operations Centre (NOC) or similar Operations environment
- Knowledge of Linux (Command Line), Server Administration & Troubleshooting
- Previous experience with bash and/or Python, or other Linux scripting/programming languages
- Previous experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Nagios etc.)
- Familiarity with ITSM/trouble ticketing systems (Jira, lighthouse, Bugzilla, ServiceNow etc.)
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, initiative, and leadership abilities
- Effective analytical, planning, organizational, and documentation skills
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize, while working under pressure
