Systems Architect - VOD/Streaming

Our client’s Architecture & System Engineering group is seeking a technically savvy System Architect to support multiple ongoing and future projects in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong architecture skills, subject matter expertise in video content delivery, and solid knowledge of conditional access.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years relevant experience as a Systems Engineer / Architect working in the Entertainment & Media industry
• Experience in coming up with high-level architectural design and technology roadmaps
• Understanding of latest trends and technologies including mobile based applications
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, with strong interpersonal skills
• Leadership qualities, including ability to facilitate technical discussions and good negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt and change priorities as the business needs change
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to tailor communication to the target audience
• Experience in Broadcast/broadband Television, Video-On-Demand, Pay Per View
• Understanding of video encoding, streaming, and downloading on Internet
• Understanding of digital rights management
• Understanding of video content management
• Understanding of mobile technologies (mobile phones, tablets)
• Experience in identity management and industry standard frameworks such as OAuth, Open ID Connect, SAML, etc.
