Job Description
PROTOTEK is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team on the 2nd shift. The role involves independently executing advanced CNC machining and programming, designing custom fixtures, and mentoring junior machinists. This position requires a strong understanding of 2D/3D programming and excellent problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant CNC Machining, setup and programming experience
- Expertise in 2D/3D programming and multi-axis machining
- Strong knowledge of lathe operations, complex fixturing, and high-tolerance machining
- Proficiency with Fusion 360 or related CAM software
- Physical & Work Environment (Ability to lift 50lbs and stand long periods)
- Ability to handle machining components and airborne particles.
