Finishing Specialist Level 1 - Temporary

Finishing Specialist Level 1 is an individual who excels in a fast-paced, Sheetmetal shop, environment focusing on on-time delivery of parts.

Requirements

• Handle parts with care to avoid damage to finishes
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Ability to process all aspects of silkscreen and part mark
• Ability to operate laser engraver to make plates for part mark and engraving
• Ability to use machinery & Hand tools to install various types of hardware
• Ability to assemble parts using fasteners
• Ability to use scale to count hardware
• Ability to utilize computer software to create artwork & shipping labels
• Ability to ensure that all tanks for plating are at the correct PH and temperature daily
• Ability to inspect the evaporator daily
• Ability to train new employees as needed
• Ability to complete daily inspections of any finishing area and tools/equipment when needed
• Ability to keep inventory of supplies and Inform purchasing department when supplies need to be ordered
• Ability to wrap, package & label parts for shipment/outside process
• Ability to read blueprints
• Basic mathematics and computer skills
• Understanding of Hazardous waste disposal/storage
• Good Hand/Eye coordination
