Speech Language Pathologist

Speech Language Pathologists are responsible for administering speech/language pathology treatment, evaluating patients, planning treatment plans, and ensuring patients' goals and function in society. This role involves coordinating care with physicians, participating in QI activities, and assisting with scheduling and budget considerations. The position requires a dedication to patient advocacy, infection control, and departmental performance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from a college or school of Speech Language Pathology
• Licensed by State of Kentucky as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience working with geriatric population preferred
• Good interpersonal and public relations skills
• Solid analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to assist and coordinate with others
• Able to use computer in basic word processing, email correspondence, and excel applications
• Average strength and stamina for physical activity
