Job Description
Cognito LLC, a part of a joint venture between QuarterLine Consulting Services and Resolution Think, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support ICE Health Services Corps (IHSC) at the T. Don Hutto Detention Center in Taylor, TX. The role involves providing safe medication delivery to detainees, ensuring compliance with pharmacy policies, and assisting with various pharmacy functions. This position is specifically within the Department of Homeland Security, focusing on providing quality healthcare to detainees within the confines of correctional facilities.
Requirements
- Maintain BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Pass background check and drug screen.
- Current physical and immunizations.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician (1 year minimum).
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical nomenclature, formulas, weights, and measures.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
