PRN Speech-Language Pathologist - Acute Care

As an Inpatient/Acute Care Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll use evidence-based techniques to transform patients’ lives. Your primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with a diagnosis of stroke, traumatic brain injury, head and neck cancer, and progressive neurological conditions.

Requirements

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient’s family, fellow clinicians, and other team members
• Build and maintain relationships with hospital staff (i.e. physicians, case management, nurses, social workers, dietitians, etc.)
