Assistant/Deputy Director, Design Management, AI Programme

The Government Technology Agency (GovTech) is seeking a strategic Assistant/Deputy Director of Design Management to lead the user experience vision for artificial intelligence adoption across the Singapore public sector.

Requirements

• 10 years or more of product design experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing work on complex systems
• Demonstrated experience building, managing, and mentoring design teams
• Expertise in establishing design processes, governance, and quality frameworks at scale
• Proven ability to translate user insights and organisational strategy into a clear design direction
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
• Proficient in best practices for usability, accessibility (WCAG), and responsible AI design
