Senior Transmission Contract Manager

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a Senior Transmission Contract Manager to oversee the management and negotiation of transmission contracts under FERC jurisdiction. This role focuses on reducing risk and maximizing efficient utilization of PSE’s transmission assets, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The position offers an opportunity to play a key role in the clean energy transition and driving transformation of the region's generation and transmission portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in engineering, mathematics, finance, economics, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in the energy industry.
• Ten (10) years of relevant work experience, including three (3) years of demonstrated experience working with transmission contracts, FERC OATTs, and open access transmission service.
• Professional negotiation and contract dispute resolution experience.
• Understanding of transmission modeling and planning, risk assessment, electricity trading and energy market conditions.
• Ability to develop industry contacts, establish relationships, and influence others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
