Veterinary Technician/Nurse - Emergency/Critical Care

The Purdue Veterinary Hospital is adding a talented credentialed veterinary technician to our Emergency and Critical Care team. As a teaching hospital supporting 15 different veterinary specialty departments, veterinary technicians in the ECC department have the opportunity to utilize all of their clinical skills working with a diverse caseload of patients.

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program
• Registered in Indiana within twelve (12) months
• Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations
• Strong oral/written communication skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to handle the physical and emotional aspects of work in a veterinary hospital environment
• Ability to lift and carry 25-50 pounds frequently and 60 pounds occasionally
