Veterinary Technician (Small Animal Surgery Floor)

The Purdue University Veterinary Hospital is looking for a veterinary technician to work on the Small Animal Surgery Team. The position involves assisting with patient appointments, monitoring sedation, providing inpatient treatments, and circulating in the OR. The role includes an after-hours anesthesia on-call rotation and requires a solid base of organization, time management, anesthesia, and post-operative patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of AVMA accredited veterinary technology program
• RVT in Indiana within 12 months of starting employment
• Two years of experience working in a Veterinary Hospital or related
