Children's Services/ICW - CPS Investigator

The Puyallup Tribe of Indians is seeking a CPS Investigator to conduct investigations of cases involving allegations of abuse and neglect of Indian Children within the Puyallup Tribal Jurisdiction.

Requirements

• Works collaboratively with assigned Caseworker and families in developing initial case plans.
• Conducts thorough investigations and makes determinations regarding the nature of allegations.
• Creates intake, case notes, and documents all pertinent information.
• Partners with DCYF and other tribal workers to complete investigations of child neglect/abuse.
• Develops safety plans and monitors progress of parents involved.
• Facilitates out-of-home placement when necessary in collaboration with Law Enforcement and/or the Court.
• Prepares detailed, comprehensive and fact-based affidavits and testimony to court.
