Job Description
Pyramid is a leading Information Technology Consulting services company seeking a skilled PostgreSQL DBA with 6+ years of experience in administering PostgreSQL databases. The successful candidate will assist development teams in optimizing for PostgreSQL and have expertise in EDB tool for monitoring, performance tuning, backup and restore, and security access control.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in administering PostgreSQL databases as a senior DBA
- Experience using EDB tool for monitoring
- Experience in using Performance tuning PostgreSQL
- Proficient in SQL and advanced SQL
- Proficient in pg PL/SQL and triggers
- SQL Development experience with ETL with Oracle data
- SQL Development experience assisting front end application developers
- Experience in security access control
- Full project life cycle experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, able to work both in a team and solo
- Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
