Job Description
Q-CTRL's Quantum Sensing Research team is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead experimental work on atom-interferometry-based quantum sensors. This role involves contributing to the efficient functioning of Q-CTRL's quantum sensing infrastructure, working closely with experimental physicists and engineering specialists, and reducing SWaP to maximize sensor robustness for new applications. The position supports the company's mission of using quantum technology for practical impact.
Requirements
- PhD in Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience developing and operating cold-atom interferometry hardware.
- Knowledge of handling systematics and optimal signal extraction.
- Experience in quantum sensor operation, automation and data fusion.
