Job Description
Power your future with Qualus as a Lead Protection and Control Technician. This role involves calibrating, installing, maintaining, and repairing protective relays and associated equipment to ensure the efficient, safe, reliable operation of the electric grid. Responsibilities include interpreting project-level scope of work, providing team leadership, writing procedures and test plans, and testing and troubleshooting complex control systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of field experience in commissioning, panel and equipment checkout, relay calibration, testing and repairing substation relaying and control schemes
- Experience in substation design, construction, commissioning, SCADA/Fault Data/SER/Integration-Automation equipment installation and testing
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Valid Driver's license and good driving record
