Director of Operations, Virginia

Taylor’s Construction, Inc. is seeking a strategic Director of Operations to oversee all aspects of field and project operations in Virginia. This role will report directly to executive leadership and focus on executing high-quality construction services across commercial, utility, and public infrastructure markets. The company specializes in fiber optic cable services, utility pole placement, and telecommunications construction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of leadership experience in telecommunications, fiber optic, or utility construction operations.
• Proven ability to manage large teams across multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong understanding of fiber splicing, aerial/underground utility placement, and pole setting operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and field reporting platforms.
• Willingness to travel to field sites as required.
