Job Description
Taylor’s Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanic to maintain, repair, and service the company’s fleet of vehicles and construction equipment. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting field crews with safe and functional tools. The Mechanic will work primarily from a shop location but may travel to job sites as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of mechanic experience with heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and/or construction equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems commonly used in telecom and utility construction.
- Ability to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle components.
- Valid driver’s license with CDL certification, preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
