Job Description
Southern Electric Corporation is seeking a Transmission Foreman for their Flowood, MS, office. This full-time, four-year apprenticeship or certification program position focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical power/distribution systems. The role involves working independently and with a team, prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Install and repair electrical power or distribution systems.
- Installs and maintains line hardware and erect poles and light/heavy-duty transmission towers.
- Connects cables for overhead transmission lines, customer service lines, or street light lines.
- Tests lines and equipment for potential repairs, installation of grounding devices, and operating equipment.
- Supervises conductor stringing operation.
- Handles safety and health policies.
- Can operate lift equipment
