The Virginia Retirement System (VRS) Data Office team is seeking up to two (2) senior level Power BI/SQL Developers with strong problem solving, organizational, and communication skills to collaborate with the Data Office, Business, IT and other stakeholders and play an active role in the Data Quality Enhancement initiative.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server SQL development, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience in writing complex DAX queries.
• Experience with MS SQL Server data modelling and schema design.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team that includes business and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
