Job Description
This Senior Software Engineer - QA role involves designing, developing, and executing automated tests for web and backend systems to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability. The role requires collaboration with developers and stakeholders to define test strategies and identify/track defects. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and bug tracking tools is essential.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
- Strong experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Robot).
- Good understanding of backend/API testing (Postman, REST-assured).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration.
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (JIRA).
- Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team.
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter) is a plus.
